Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers:

BP models available with copper or nickel brazing and 316 S/S plates-(Brochure)
Vacuum-brazed, stacked plate construction, Copper Braze as standard with optional Nickel braze material available. Max Flow - 800 GPM with areas up to 365 Sq. Ft. Connections are 316L stainless steel and range from 1/2" OD to 4" OD connections in MNPT, FNPT, Sweat, SAE threaded, Flanged, Victaulic grooved, Hose barb, etc. with custom connections available. Optional threaded studs or integral mounting bracket. Available codes include UL, CRN, ASME Code and CE/PED.

Applications: For general purpose oil, water and gas cooling.
Use on compressors, hydraulic packages, lasers and diesel engines.
Excellent for use as refrigerant evaporators, condensers, subcoolers and desuperheaters.

Plate and Frame Heat Exchangers:

Gasketed Plate and Frame units-Brochure
Plate and Frame heat exchangers use a combination of chevron-style heat transfer plates sequenced between a frame plate and pressure plate. The heat transfer plates have holes at the four corners forming a header that distribute the respective flows to the opposite sides of each plate when the plates align. The fluids are confined to the heat transfer surface of the plate or the port as appropriate with elastomer gaskets. Max Flow - up to 23,500 GPM with heat transfer areas up to 20,000 Sq. Ft. 1" to 2.5" NPT nozzle connections. 3" to 18" ANSI Studded connections.

Applications: For close temperature approach of fluids to maximize heat recovery. Semi-welded Plateflow exceptional for refrigerant, aggressive chemical, or any applications where reducing the fluid's contact with elastomers is desired. Free-Flow feature is ideal for heat reclamation in pulp and paper or chemical processing, where wash water, white water, fibrous water slurries or high viscosity fluids are used. Double wall plates to eliminate possibility of fluid intermixing.
